We received this heater in great condition. I was surprised the glass didn't even break because I thought for sure it would.
Friday night it was about 50 degrees out give or take.
We put it up on our outdoor coffee table, installed the propane tank and turned it on per instructions. WOW it is really neat looking...
Hmmm no warmth from the couch which is about 3.5 feet away. Get closer? Does it need to warm up or something? I scoot closer....still barely can feel it and I am practically 1 foot away. Put my hand over the top, there's the heat! I thought about getting a mini fan to put on top to blow the heat towards me. This thing is too much $$$ for something that won't warm me up that close.
It is an expensive gas powered flame. It is so cool looking that if it were cheaper I would think about just keeping it.
Oh and within 5-10 minutes the top of the glass cracked.

I'm semi-retired, traveling the Western U.S., living & working out of my 40 ft RV. I was looking for something sheik, lightweight and functional. The brushed chrome finish is a classic touch as well. This little heater is great to sit by in the evening and so easy to pack up & store when I travel in my RV. I even ordered the fitting to attach a propane line directly to my RV barbeque connection. I go to a lot of RV rally's and expect to be the talk of the events. Everyone thus far that see's the flame in operation comments on how unique and wonderful it is.
I read the review about a customers heater arriving damaged but I order mine anyway because of the great replacement/satisfaction guarantee should any mishap occur. Mine arrived in perfect condition. Very pleased...

The first one was broken, and we forgave that and reordered. The second came without the decal on the control knob , so there is no way to guess where "off" "pilot" "high" are located. We called the manufacturer for support and we were sent into a black hole. We were contacted by the Amazon seller who stepped in to try and make things right.
Although the shipper could not provide a product with a control indicator, he was very responsive to the problem and in the end made a price adjustment for the item, which as acceptable.
The bronze heater is very attractive when it burns. We enjoy it enough that we opted to covert it to a bigger gas tank , which the adapter to do so is readily available at local propane store. As for the amount of heat it generates, we would estimate that it provides a nice warm spot when temperatures on the deck are in the thirties. It works well on a table between two deck chairs.
