Beautiful item! Does not heat up at all . All the heat comes out from the top of the unit , nothing from 6inches away . Must supplement with electric Infared heaters

The patio heater is an eye catcher. Has a modern appeal but the reason we bought it was to enjoy our patio on cooler days/evenings. My engineer husband was able to put it together in about 2hrs. We are not happy with the output of heat. It really doesn't have any output. It looks great with the flame shooting up the glass tube but that is about it. We are rather disappointed considering the price. Would be better off spending $200 at the local hardware store.
